1. Use 4 X AA (LR6) batteries only.
2. WARNNING: don’t use rechargeable batteries.
3. Use quality batteries of a known brand.
4. Make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed after every time you change the batteries.
-
Is this product BPA free?
Yes, this product is BPA free.
-
What age range is the Elephant Baby Shower designed for?
It is especially designed for newborns. It is intended for parents at first, to help them bathe their babies safely and easily, and around the age of 18+ months, it is suitable for your baby to operate and play with independently. No matter what their age, never leave a child unattended in the bathroom or bathtub.
-
How do I operate the product for the first time?
Before you can start enjoying your new bath pal, batteries must be inserted. We strongly recommend using new, good quality batteries to ensure optimal operation over time. It is highly important to insert the batteries correctly and make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed before putting the elephant in the water. Step-by-step instructions for properly inserting the batteries can be found below.
-
What type of batteries are needed to operate the product?
4 X AA (LR6) batteries (not included) of good quality and known brand. WARNNING: don’t use rechargeable batteries.
-
How do I insert the batteries?
Before inserting the batteries, ensure the product is thoroughly dry! To insert batteries, first you must locate the battery cover on the bottom of the elephant’s body, it’s the round cover with a straight groove. Unscrew the battery compartment cover by inserting a coin into the groove and turning it counterclockwise. Pull out the battery case and insert 4 x 1.5v AAA (LR6) batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Place the battery case back into its compartment and screw cover into place until the lock and line marks are aligned (see instructions in PDF in the tab above). Attention! Before putting the elephant back in the water, make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed.
-
I inserted batteries but the Elephant Baby Shower is still not working. What can I do?
Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. First, dry off the product thoroughly, then follow the above instructions to verify correct polarity (+/-) insertion for each battery, and proper sealing of the battery compartment. Put the elephant back in the water and try operating the product once more. If it still doesn’t work, try using new batteries and clean the propeller and filter, as described below. If that too doesn’t get the water flowing, please contact our customer support center.
-
What is the required water level for operating the product?
Bathtub should be filled at least 4 inch (10 cm).
-
How do I start the water flow?
Press on one or both of the two knobs located on each side of the shower head to activate the water flow.
-
Can the water pressure be adjusted?
The Elephant Baby Shower was designed for a soft soothing water flow and gentle stream which fits perfectly for young babies, therefore it cannot be changed.
-
The water pressure of the Elephant Baby Shower is too low, what may be the cause?
The flow may be low if the batteries are weak or the propeller or filter are blocked by dirt, hair, or soap. To fix this, simply unscrew the filter (located on the bottom of the product) and pull it out. Wash with soap and water until the filter mesh is clean. Then make sure the propeller rotates freely. If it doesn’t, try to release whatever is causing it to be stuck with a screwdriver, and clean it off until it rotates freely again. If you want to watch a tutorial, click here. When the elephant is sparkly clean, reinsert the filter and attach the screw. If the elephant is still not splashing water, change the batteries and make sure to tightly close the battery compartment lid (see instructions above). If the product still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support center.
-
What should I do if I notice mold has developed from the shower head?
It is recommended to properly rinse, drain, and dry out the product after every use. Unless you do that, Yookidoo® bath toys will need a good cleaning every few weeks or so, in order to remain mold-free. When a thorough cleaning is required, fill up a bucket with water and add in some vinegar. Let the elephant soak in the vinegar water for around 30 minutes, then turn it on to circulate the water through the pump. Rinse the elephant off and dry using a paper or cloth towel.
-
What do I do if the Elephant Baby Shower stops working?
The circulating water pump may stop working when the batteries die and when the propeller or filter are blocked by dirt, hair, or soap.
-
The pump is working, but the water is not flowing. What should I do?
If you hear the pump working but water is not coming out, it probably means that air is blocking the pump. First stop its operation then try shaking the elephant’s body for a few seconds out of the water to release the air, put it back in the water, and start it back up. If it still doesn’t work, submerge the elephant in water while the pump is working. Make sure that the water covers at least the elephant’s feet. Take it out of the water and wait at least 20 seconds. The pump should be working throughout the process.
-
I replaced the batteries and found that there was water in the battery compartment or a rusty battery. What should I do?
The battery compartment may not have been closed properly. It is very important to make sure the cover is sealed correctly. Before re-operating, take out the battery case and empty the batteries. Wipe the compartment and battery case. Only when completely dry, insert new batteries, place the battery case in the compartment, screw the cover tightly into place until the lock and line marks are aligned, and try to operate the product. If the elephant still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support center.
